What do we know?
1. A loving attitude, clear rules and applying the consequences that were stated will encourage the development of positive behaviors in children
2. When the parent behaves in this way, the child is encourages to explore his environment while respecting certain limits
3. An enthusiastic parent who gives his child the opportunity to do fun things and be successful will give him confidence and will encourage him to explore his environment
4. Respecting each child's personality, parents should apply discipline that is not too authoritarian and not too permissive, so that the child will obey instruction
5. Children who are too tightly controlled will have trouble making decisions and expressing their needs
